Sox Dig Themselves a Quick Hole, Go Down 0-2 In ALDS After 6-2 Game 2 Loss to Rays

Buehrle's line of 5 earned over 7 innings does not speak to how well he pitched for the Sox tonight.  He kept the Sox in the game.  He did his job.  The last two runs credited to him came across after he left the game.  The Sox simply did not hit tonight.  I'm not sure I've seen a team who is worse than the White Sox at getting hits with runners in scoring position.  They did this all year, and continue to do it now.  Same old thing.  Sometimes the postseason brings out the best and worst of teams, but for the Sox in 2008, it simply brings out the same old non-clutch hitting Sox we've come to know all season.  I had hoped the Sox with their World Series veterans would 'find' something in the postseason, but they have found nothing but holes in their bats when it counts.  The White Sox may win a game or two at home, but I don't count on it.  There is another black out scheduled for Sunday.  I just hope it's not 'fade to black' for this team in '08.
