Lee's History-Making Form Too Much For Sox in 5-0 Loss to Indians (Game 137, '08)

The story of last night was Cliff Lee, who continued his Cy-Young calibur season against the White Sox, shutting them out 5-0.  Not much to say about this game.  A dominant pitcher having a historic season got the job done again.  Clayton Richard continues to be trotted out by Ozzie, no matter how ineffective he is.  I'm still not sure why Lance Broadway cannot be used, but...that's Ozzie's call.  The White Sox now find themselves in a tie with the Twins.  That is not much news, since the Sox have been trading with Minnesota for weeks now.  I know going into that final series, the White Sox will need at least a 5-game lead, but that will almost certainly not happen.  I therefore predict the Sox will miss the playoffs, while the Twins will go on, only to get eliminated in the first round.  The Yankees will miss the playoffs too, but it's not all that hard to see this happening.
