Inability to Capitalize Cost Sox Again With 4-3 Loss To Cubs (Game 73, '08)

The Cubs were very beatable today but the Sox' inability to cash into opportunities, including a leadoff double by Anderson in the top of the ninth did them in.  No big surprise.  Same garbage.

I called this result when Dotel came in.  I knew he would blow it, which he did, allowing two homers to Lee and Ramirez to tie the game at 3.  When the Sox continued to miss out on opportunities, I knew they were going to lose.  I also knew after the Sox didn't cash in in the top half of the ninth, the Cubs would hit a walk-off homer, which they did.  Totally predictable.  Totally pathetic.  At least it's only game 1.
