Getting Some Support...Sox Destroy Buccos 16-5 (Game 71, '08)

The Chicago White Sox crushed the Pittsburgh Pirates, supporting a struggling Javier Vazquez who was knocked around himself for a bit, giving up 5 runs on just 5 hits.  He was leaving pitches up over the plate, and they weren't fooled whatsoever it seemed tonight.  Fortunately, the bullpen was perfect, and Russell was even brought into the game, with a perfect frame to finish the game.  For another rare time, the Sox offense supported the struggling starter, but they went a bit overboard.  Hopefully the Sox will not be 'all or nothing,' barely scratching together any hits and runs tomorrow.  While the pitching has been getting hit a bit more, they are still very good.  With some offensive support, this team should be in great shape.
